What is develop to 3d?

There seems to be confusion among some staff what this project is about. So in this thread i will reiterate. Its purpose is mainly threefold-
*To test and improve our eptitude as developers (without having to spend the time and resources committing to a full game project) to assess potential project feasibility on this basis.
*To act as a portfolio builder to beef up our website and to allow external business interests to assess our investability.
*To gain from practice, a living library of graphics assets and scripting code that we can call upon in future projects in order to save time.

What the develop to 3d project is NOT-
*About producing fully fledged, bona fide games

*A commercial project to gain revenue
